Significance of Work

The Sustainable Community Roundtable believes “sustainable communities” are those whose development allows the community to meet present needs without compromising its ability to meet future needs.

SCR’s work helps shape the debate about how our communities will be defined and managed.  What issues will public policy makers decide on our behalf is determined on the input they receive from the public.  The SCR’s research is used by city planners and policy makers to help shape the development and management of your community.

Your support of the SCR insures your voice is heard by community leaders and policy makers.
